About medigini
medigini is an AI clinical evidence assistant for registered medical practitioners in India. Ask a clinical question in English, Hindi or Marathi and get an answer that cites its sources from PubMed and trusted guideline websites, so you can check every claim. It is a work in progress (beta), improving all the time.
Who is medigini for?
Doctors and other registered healthcare professionals in India, including residents. It is built for the questions that come up between patients, on a phone, in a few seconds.
Is medigini finished?
No. medigini is a work in progress (beta). We are improving answer quality and adding features such as sign-in, chat history, Deep Dive and more Indian languages, so things will change. Check every answer against its sources.
What can I ask?
Clinical questions about diagnosis, treatment choices, drug doses and interactions, guideline recommendations and what recent studies show. medigini answers clinical questions only.
Where do the answers come from?
For each question, medigini searches PubMed, including Indian journals and guidelines, and trusted guideline websites: India's national health programmes, ICMR, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, CDSCO, Indian professional societies and the WHO. It puts Indian guidance first, names each guideline with its year, and cites every source by number, with links.
Which AI does medigini use?
For now, answers are written by Anthropic's Claude models. We will add other AI providers and models soon, so the model behind an answer may change. Whichever model is used, every answer cites its sources so you can check it.
What is the difference between Search and Deep Dive?
Search gives a short, cited answer in seconds. Deep Dive reads more studies and returns a structured review covering the bottom line, the evidence, Indian context, practical points and gaps. It takes about a minute.
Which languages does medigini support?
English, Hindi and Marathi, with more Indian languages on the way. Drug names, doses and medical terms stay in English so they match what you prescribe.
Do I need an account?
You can try a few searches a day without one. Sign-in with your mobile number or Google account is coming soon. It will unlock Deep Dive, chat history, saved research and medicine checks.
Does medigini replace clinical judgement?
No. It is an information tool and it can be wrong. Check the cited sources and current prescribing information before acting, and don't enter patient names or other identifiers.
Who makes medigini?
medigini is built by Magicwork Technologies.
