Terms of use
These terms apply to medigini at https://medigini.in ("medigini", "we"). medigini is operated by Magicwork Technologies Pvt Ltd (hello@medigini.in). By using medigini you agree to them.
Who can use medigini
medigini is for registered medical practitioners and other qualified healthcare professionals in India, and for medical students and residents working under supervision. It is not for patients or the public, and not for anyone under 18.
What medigini is, and isn't
medigini is a clinical information tool. It searches published literature and selected guideline sources and uses artificial intelligence to summarise them with citations. It does not examine patients, make diagnoses or prescribe, and it does not replace your professional judgement, current prescribing information or applicable guidelines.
AI-generated answers can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and a cited source may not say exactly what the summary suggests. Check the sources before you act on an answer. You remain responsible for every clinical decision.
medigini is a work in progress (beta)
medigini is in early access and under active development. Features, answer quality and format, the sources we search, languages and fair-use limits will change, sometimes without notice. Some features described on the site, such as sign-in, chat history, saved research and Deep Dive, may not be available yet. Expect occasional errors and downtime, and don't rely on medigini as your only source of clinical information.
AI models
For now, answers are written by Anthropic's Claude models. We plan to add other AI providers and models, so the model behind an answer may change, and answers to the same question may differ. Whichever model is used, answers follow the same rules: they cite their sources, and you must check them.
Your responsibilities
- Don't enter patient names, contact details, record numbers or anything else that identifies a person.
- Keep your account secure and don't share your sign-in.
- Don't misuse medigini: no automated scraping, no attempts to get around security or limits, no unlawful content.
Accounts and fair use
Sign-in with a mobile number and OTP, or with a Google account, is being set up. We set daily fair-use limits and may change them. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.
Third-party sources
Answers link to third-party websites such as PubMed and government health portals. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or availability.
Intellectual property
The medigini name, design and software belong to Magicwork Technologies Pvt Ltd. Cited articles and guidelines belong to their publishers. You may use answers in your clinical work and teaching.
Liability
medigini is a work in progress and is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or availability. To the extent the law allows, Magicwork Technologies Pvt Ltd is not liable for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, medigini.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will change the date below when we do. While medigini is in beta, expect updates more often. These terms are written in English; if a translation differs, the English version applies. They are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction.
